 Thank you for your interest in supporting the Bob Trot 5K Run/Walk! Please see the following for information on how to sponsor, donate, or advertise at our event.

 Sponsorship packages:

 Gold Sponsors ($1,000) are the primary named sponsors of the 5K. Large banners displaying company name/logo will be prominently displayed at the 5K start & finish line. Gold sponsor name and logo will always receive first-mention and most prominent display on all event promotional mediums. This includes event advertisements, social media, packets, and event T-shirts. 

 Silver Sponsors ($500) are also named sponsors on t-shirts. These sponsors will also receive additional advertising at either the water station or kilometer markers along the course. Advertisement will be included on social media, in event packets, online ads and email blasts. 

 Bronze Sponsors ($250) are also named sponsors on sponsor banner and t-shirts. These sponsors will also receive advertisement in event packets. 

 All sponsors will have logos displayed on the event “Thank You” banner, including all companies which donate non-monetary supplies/goods for the event. If your company is able to donate food for the runners after the race, appropriate advertising will be displayed at that table. We are happy to work with companies with any donation that can help make our 5K a success.

Dr. Bob Stager was a beloved Obstetrician-Gynecologist at Augusta University Medical Center who spent a large amount of his career providing exceptional care for women and newborn babies of the CSRA. Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with an advanced stage lymphoma in 2018 and passed away February 16, 2019. In an effort to raise awareness about lymphoma and the impact it has on families, and to honor someone who means so much to the community, his coworkers, friends and family are hosting the 5th Annual Bob Trot 5K and Fun Run.

The Bob Trot 5K is a family-friendly event that will take place at the North Augusta Greenway and will course along the trail. All proceeds from the event will go directly to three charities chosen by the Stager family: The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Alex Strong Foundation, and Mission 22.

The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma and Hodgkin’s disease, improve access to care for all, and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

The AlexStrong Foundation is committed to making Alex's legacy of love, perseverance and strength live on. Alex was diagnosed in 2019 with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma at the age of 10 months and unfortunately passed away 1 year later. AlexStrong raises awareness of childhood cancer with an aim to enable families and patients to make the most of their journeys.  AlexStrong works with hospitals to make patient’s stays, infusions, and times of separation from family more manageable. 

Mission22 is a veteran nonprofit that supports veterans, families and community.  Bob's nurse lost her son, a marine, in 2022 and he leaves behind his family, wife and 3 children.  We aim to support this family and the veteran organization, as we feel Bob would have surely wanted this.

Your company can greatly benefit from these causes by choosing to purchase a sponsorship package for the event. These sponsorship packages allow your business the opportunity to be promoted throughout the Bob Trot 5K with banners, branding and other advertisements depending on the amount sponsored. If this is a donation that your business is interested in, your company will be duly recognized and promoted at this event for your generosity towards this cause. Your business can also help by providing donations to be used as prizes and fundraising incentives, such as overstocked or clearance items or gift cards. In return, you will have the opportunity to advertise at this event, such as providing information about your business, coupons, etc.
